Job Description and Responsibilities

One of our top priorities this year is to link our People Team Transformation to our People Strategy implementation. As we transition from the People Team Transformation phase to executing our People Strategy, it is imperative to have a strong leader who can drive adoption and ensure the success of both individual initiatives and the overall strategy. As a key leader, this person will drive the People Team Strategy implementation, and be responsible for leading, coaching and developing a growing team of Change Management Practitioners. 

This role will report directly to the Senior Director, People Team Accelerator OCM/PMO Lead who will oversee a new team of resources dedicated to executing on the People Team transformation workstreams.

Essential Functions:

  • Leadership and Team Development: Lead, coach, and develop a growing team of Change Management Practitioners, fostering a high-performance culture and continuous professional growth.
  • Strategic Implementation: Drive the design, development, delivery, and management of communications about changes to tools and processes across the People organization.
  • Change Management Execution: Implement change management activities for multiple People Strategy-related changes and impacts, ensuring seamless integration and execution.
  • Transformation Planning: Create and manage comprehensive end-to-end transformation OCM plans, aligning with strategic objectives and timelines.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Manage effective communication channels to keep all stakeholders informed, proactively raising risks or challenges as needed.
  • Readiness Assessment: Evaluate and ensure user readiness, conducting impact analysis and change management assessments to gauge change readiness.
  • Success Metrics: Define and measure success metrics, monitoring change progress and making data-driven adjustments to strategies.
  • Collaboration and Influence: Interface with key partners and stakeholders, serving as the primary point of contact for the workstream/project team. Possess the strength to stand up to VP team members and respectfully disagree while collaborating to drive projects forward.
  • Project Management: Oversee team deliverables to achieve target scope, schedule, and cost, maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.
  • Integration and Reporting: Integrate change management activities into project plans, tracking and reporting issues and action items.
  • Leadership Support: Support the creation of materials for Transformation Leadership Team Meetings, providing insights and recommendations.
  • Global Team Coordination: Work with virtual teams located in different time zones and with differing cultures, ensuring cohesive and inclusive collaboration.
  • Change Advocacy: Be an agent for change, embodying and promoting the principles of effective change management throughout the organization.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualification

  • 10 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/MBA/JD/MD) or at least 3 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 8-10 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 6+ years of work experience with a PhD
  • 12+ years professional experience with a Bachelor's degree, MBA and/or change management, certification a plus
  • Proven experience in leading organizational change management initiatives and driving strategic transformations.
  • Entrepreneurial and flexible, strategic thinker who can balance strategy with detailed execution
  • Strong leadership and direct management of projects/teams experience with coaching for success Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities, assignments, and roles Comprehensive understanding of change management principles, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and deliver results within scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to distill complex information into a compelling narrative, and in a variety of formats (ex. presentations, talking points, executive summaries, etc.)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Exceptional collaboration and partnership skills in a global, matrixed environment with cross-functional teams
  • Self-starter, results oriented individual with the ability to roll up their sleeves and handle numerous projects concurrently

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 145,400.00 to 210,800.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
